南京大学物理学院教授、博士生导师。
曾获得国家杰出青年基金 (1997)、获聘南京大学长江特聘教授 (2004)、获选美国物理学会会士 (Fellow, 2015)。

主要从事量子凝聚态和量子材料 (关联与拓扑物理、多铁性与铁电物理)、统计物理与蒙特卡罗模拟、自旋电子学方面的实验与计算物理研究。在国际学术刊物发表论文数百篇，其中：

(1) 主持和参与承担国家自然科学基金面上、重点、重大、杰青、创新群体项目共 20 项；
(2) 主持和参与承担国家 973 项目课题、国家重大研究计划项目课题共 6 项；
(3) 获得竞争性研究经费总计 5500 万元。

社会学术活动：
(1) 担任 npj Quantum Materials 执行主编、National Science Review 物理区编辑、Scientific Report、Journal of Materoimics、《物理》刊物编委；
(2) 担任若干国家/省部级重点实验室学术委员会学术委员；
(3) 科普作者、古典诗词业余爱好者。主持《量子材料QuantumMaterials》微信科普公众号 (南京大学所有)。

Distinguished Professor of Physics and Chang-Jiang Professor of Physics with Department of Physics, Nanjing University, and National Laboratory of Solid State Microstructures. Recipent of the National Natural Science Younger Investigator Award (1997), APS Fellowship (Fellow, Materials Physics Division, 2015). Author and Coauthor of more than 1000 international refereed technical papers and review articles, including more than 200 papers in journals "Science, Science Advances, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, Advances in Physics, Advanced Materials / Advanced Functional Materials / Advanced Energy Materials, Physical Reviews L/A/B/E/Applied/Materials/Research, Applied Physics Letters", with more than 35000 citations total and 30 papers each of more than 100 citations (maximaum 4600). PI & Co-PI of more than 20 grants from the National Nature Science Foundation of China and 6 grants from the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, accounting total RMB 55 millions.
